Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Mike Strain, Endorses John Schroder for Treasurer

Baton Rouge, La — Today, Louisiana Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry, Dr. Mike Strain, endorsed John Schroder for state treasurer.

“I have known John Schroder for over ten years, going back to the time before he served in elected office and was a respected member of the St Tammany Parish Home Builder’s Association,” Strain said. “He served in the legislature as my state representative and was a vocal advocate for fiscal reform and accountability. He is a man of unquestionable ethics and integrity and will serve with honor and distinction as our next state treasurer.”

Commissioner Strain joins the growing list of over 100 elected officials from across Louisiana who have endorsed Schroder.

“I am thankful to Commissioner Strain for his endorsement and conservative leadership,” said Schroeder. “I look forward to continue working closely with him as Louisiana’s next Treasurer.”

Schroder led Republicans in the October 14th Primary, securing a spot in the November 18th Runoff.
