Attorney General Jeff Landry Endorses John Schroder for Treasurer

Baton Rouge, La — Today, Attorney General Jeff Landry endorsed John Schroder for state treasurer.

“Conservatives in the Legislature need fellow leaders to fight the Governor’s tax and waste policies,” said AG Landry. “John Schroeder is the best candidate to help our efforts to rein in wasteful governement spending, lower taxes, and grow our economy.”

“Like me, John has experience in law enforcement – as a criminal investigator in the Army and as a narcotics detective in the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office,” continued AG Landry. “This experience of investigating and seeking the truth will prove invaluable as John works to get past the Governor’s dishonest budgeting and fix the fiscal mess in Baton Rouge.”

Attorney General Landry joins the growing list of over 100 elected officials from across Louisiana who have endorsed Schroder.

“I am thankful to General Landry for his endorsement and conservative leadership,” said Schroeder. “I look forward to continue working closely with him as Louisiana’s next Treasurer.”

Schroder led Republicans in the October 14th Primary, securing a spot in the November 18th Runoff.
